Job Description
The Senior Sales Manager will oversee the entire sales process for payload services in the US and the Americas, engaging with a variety of customers to support space missions, and collaborating closely with internal teams to drive business growth in the space infrastructure industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation for payload services.
- Engage with both commercial and institutional customers across the US and the Americas.
- Collaborate with sales engineering, engineering, and product teams to support customer missions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of organizations to support various mission objectives.
Requirements
- Support the cradle-to-grave sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation for both physical and virtual payload services across both commercial and institutional customers in the US and the Americas.
- Report to the Senior Director of Sales, Americas, and work closely with the broader sales organization, sales engineering, as well as stakeholders within the engineering and product organizations.
- Possess a broad grasp and ability to learn about space infrastructure, scientific, operational, demonstration, communications, or remote sensing objectives to support missions.
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to be a great communicator.
