Job Description
The Security Compliance Team Lead is responsible for leading a team to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture, ensure compliance with US and EU government standards, and promote a culture of security excellence across the organization, with a focus on technical leadership and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the security compliance team to improve cybersecurity posture.
- Ensure compliance with US and EU government security standards.
- Maintain and elevate the company's cybersecurity practices across products.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in security-related initiatives.
- Manage projects related to security compliance and security culture development.
Requirements
- Experience leading and scaling a security compliance team responsible for maintaining and elevating cyber security posture.
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with US and EU government standards related to cybersecurity.
- Strong technical leadership skills, with at least 75% of the role involving hands-on technical leadership activities.
- Experience in functional and project management related to security compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of conveying complex ideas and important messages effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to foster a culture of security excellence across an engineering organization.
- Ability to lead a team responsible for cybersecurity compliance and security posture improvement.
