Job Description
The Manufacturing Software Engineer develops automated test software frameworks and tools to support satellite subsystem and system-level testing in a production environment, focusing on improving test reliability, speed, and troubleshooting in a hands-on engineering role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable test software frameworks for satellite subsystem and system-level testing
- Translate test requirements into automated scripts and tools
- Improve troubleshooting workflows to enhance test reliability and speed
- Operate close to hardware in an AIT manufacturing environment
- Ensure test repeatability and reliability across manufacturing builds
Requirements
- Strong coding skills necessary for developing automated scripts and tools for test software frameworks.
- Experience in translating test requirements into efficient, automated scripts and tools.
- Ability to operate close to hardware in an AIT manufacturing setting.
- Structured troubleshooting skills to improve troubleshooting workflows and enhance test repeatability and reliability.
- Experience supporting satellite subsystem and system-level testing in a production environment.
- Hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment related to satellite or similar high-technology systems.
