Job Description
The Lead Satellite Systems Engineer at Orbitworks is responsible for leading the development and management of multiple satellite missions, serving as the technical expert and coordinating with various teams to ensure successful deployment of multi-payload satellite configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development activities for one or multiple satellite missions with multi-payload configurations
- Serve as the technical reference for assigned satellite missions
- Collaborate with mission managers and cross-functional teams including product development, flight and ground software, AIT, and operations
Requirements
- Work as lead engineer for one or several satellite missions simultaneously, each one flying a single multi-payload configuration.
- Be the technical reference for these satellite missions, working closely with the mission manager and all the Orbitworks and Loft teams' product development teams, flight and ground software, AIT, and operations.
- Lead the development activities of the satellite missions using flight proven satellite buses and Loft designed payload hub infrastructure.
