Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development, integration, and optimization of Loft's Ultimate Edge SDK for onboard computing platforms.
Focus on enhancing performance and robustness of flight software on NVIDIA Orin-based systems.
Assess portability and performance of the SDK on additional embedded hardware targets.
Collaborate with the team using modern development practices such as C, Python, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in debugging, optimization, and problem-solving tasks related to runtime environments and GPU programming.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a final-year internship program with a duration of 6 months, starting from 26 February to 26 August.
Motivated to contribute to building onboard computing infrastructure for spacecraft.
Ability to contribute to the development, integration, and optimization of Loft's Ultimate Edge SDK, which provides unified compute capabilities across various embedded platforms.
Primary focus on NVIDIA Orin-based systems, with assessment of portability and performance on additional hardware targets.
Strong skills in modern development practices including C, Python, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience or familiarity with advanced embedded platforms, specifically NVIDIA Orin and CUDA.
Ability to work with real mission constraints and contribute to flight software robustness and system performance.
Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively within an international team.
Problem-solving skills and ability to complete coding tasks related to debugging, optimization, and problem-solving during the interview process.
