Job Description
A Customer Operations Engineer at Loft is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences during mission deployments by providing technical support, developing and deploying space missions, and collaborating with product teams to refine system functionality, with a focus on software development, space operations, and solutions engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for on-orbit mission execution and issue resolution
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and deploy space missions
- Refine and automate Cockpit functionalities based on user feedback
- Apply technical expertise in software development, testing, and space operations to ensure mission success
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge to address customer objectives and serve as the primary contact for on-orbit mission execution
- Experience in developing and deploying missions within the Loft framework
- Ability to refine Cockpit's functionality through automation and feedback interpretation to align with evolving user needs
- Proficiency in software development, testing, space operations, and solutions engineering
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team-oriented collaborator
