Job Description

The job involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for UI, API, and back-end systems at LevelTen Energy, a leading provider of renewable transaction infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality feature releases and promote a quality-driven engineering culture.

Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and back-end systems.
  • •Interpret and report testing results, advocating for quality at every development phase.
  • •Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
  • •Ensure UI design adherence by reviewing product interfaces.
  • •Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible.
  • •Serve as the technical expert for testing strategies and guide engineers on resolving issues.
  • •Lead quality improvement efforts by defining test strategies and implementing robust automated test suites.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive testing requirements and create test plans.
  • •Work closely with product management to align business requirements with test strategies.
  • •Champion quality metrics and lead efforts to improve the quality of deliverables.

Requirements

  • •5 years of experience in creating and maintaining automated test cases and executing test suites using TypeScript, JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver IO.
  • •5 years of experience integrating testing with CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
  • •Expertise in testing UI, APIs, and back-end data processing services.
  • •Experience with relational SQL databases, such as Postgres or MySQL.
  • •Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • •Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • •Proactive in identifying and implementing improvements to testing processes.
  • •Must be located in the Greater Seattle area or willing to relocate.
