The Senior Account Executive at LaunchSquad is an experienced public relations professional responsible for managing large PR programs, generating impactful media coverage, and mentoring junior team members in a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and oversee large public relations programs across multiple accounts
- Manage day-to-day operations of smaller account teams
- Generate impactful media results through pitching and story placement
- Write and place proactive company stories and contributed articles for executives
- Lead and mentor junior team members in public relations fundamentals
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists
Requirements
- Senior Account Executives are experienced public relations professionals with a track-record of generating consistent, impactful results.
- Senior Account Executives are expert writers and seasoned media pitchers.
- Senior Account Executives are comfortable placing proactive company stories and writing contributed articles for executives independently.
- Senior Account Executives are responsible for owning and overseeing large pieces of public relations programs on four accounts.
- Senior Account Executives also oversee the day-to-day operations of smaller account teams at times.
- Senior Account Executives are confident in their ability to do the work and are learning how to lead clients.
- Senior Account Executives teach new, junior teammates the fundamentals of public relations and share their knowledge and ideas across teams.
- Candidates must be open to working in a flexible, hybrid environment, including remote work options.
