Job Description
The Public Relations Account Manager is a strategic leader responsible for guiding and executing communication programs for innovative consumer brands, managing multiple teams, and delivering impactful results while fostering client relationships and team development.
Responsibilities
- •Lead and manage multiple communication programs across various consumer and lifestyle verticals.
- •Guide the day-to-day direction of account teams and ensure quality work delivery.
- •Provide strategic recommendations to clients and make work-related decisions.
- •Take responsibility for challenging or innovative program goals.
- •Coach and mentor team members, establishing work standards and expectations.
- •Collaborate with senior team members on agency activities such as talent coaching and new business pitches.
Requirements
- •Experience planning, prioritizing, and leading communications programs across four or more teams in consumer and lifestyle verticals including healthcare, finance, consumer tech, and lifestyle brands.
- •Ability to guide the day-to-day direction of account teams, provide recommendations to clients, and make strategic work decisions.
- •Experience taking responsibility for challenging or innovative program goals.
- •Skilled in teaching and coaching team members, establishing consistent guidelines for work standards and expectations at both individual and team levels.
- •Ability to deliver high-quality work and lead by example to achieve program results for clients.
- •Experience working directly with senior team members on agency activities such as teaching, coaching talent, and pitching new work on new or existing accounts.
