Job Description
A TechOps Generalist at Kraken is responsible for providing support across a range of IT and technical functions, helping to build a secure, scalable, and efficient technology environment to support the company's innovative energy solutions and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for company technology systems and infrastructure
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across various platforms
- Participate in strategic planning and organizational change related to TechOps
- Manage cloud-based services and ensure secure, scalable technology operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems and improve systems
Requirements
- Experience in providing support across a range of technical areas from 1st line support to high-level strategic planning, with the ability to handle a broad scope of work and tackle big problems in a cloud-first environment.
- Knowledge of modern IT support practices, including familiarity with cloud-based systems and the ability to support a cloud-first approach, with no on-premises Active Directory.
- Demonstrated experience as a support analyst, systems engineer, DevOps, technical support, systems administrator, network administrator, or related roles, with the ability to support workplace technology and solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment characterized by ambiguity, working on varying challenges across the company on a daily basis.
- Strong organizational skills to support the development of a world-class support service for employees and participate in transformational organizational change.
- Excellent communication skills to partner with teams and define the scope of TechOps at Kraken, providing support and building out processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on energy or technology sectors is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
- Commitment to security and safety in all operational activities, ensuring support services are delivered in a secure and safe manner.
