Job Description
The Technical Account Manager will lead strategic technical relationships with energy and utility clients, driving technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment to support the company's mission of creating a sustainable, AI-driven energy management platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technical relationships with utility and energy clients
- Drive deep technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment across accounts
- Serve as a liaison and advocate for clients in day-to-day technical experiences
Requirements
- Lead strategic technical relationships with some of Kraken's largest utility and energy clients, demonstrating experience in managing high-impact technical accounts.
- Work with the Client Partner and Client Engineering teams to drive deep technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment across accounts.
- Possess strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and technical guidance to support value realization for energy management solutions.
- Serve as a liaison, advocate, and provide day-to-day technical experience for clients, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Have experience in the energy or utility industry, specifically related to energy management, renewable generation, smart grids, or related technologies.
- Demonstrate ability to manage and develop executive-level technical relationships, including strategic discussions and technical presentations.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams at various levels.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical account management, technical consulting, or similar client-facing role within the energy or technology sectors.
- Possess a technical background with a strong understanding of Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications relevant to energy management.
- Be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, coordinating with multiple teams to deliver strategic solutions.
- Have a proactive approach to driving value and strategic alignment in client accounts, with the ability to identify opportunities for technological improvements and innovations.
