Job Description

The Technical Account Manager will lead strategic technical relationships with energy and utility clients, driving technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment to support the company's mission of creating a sustainable, AI-driven energy management platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic technical relationships with utility and energy clients
  • Drive deep technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment across accounts
  • Act as a liaison and advocate for clients to ensure a positive technical experience

Requirements

  • Lead strategic technical relationships with some of Kraken's largest utility and energy clients, demonstrating experience in managing high-impact client accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the Client Partner and Client Engineering teams to drive deep technical engagement, value realization, and strategic alignment across assigned accounts.
  • Possess a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and be able to serve as a technical guide to drive value realization for energy management solutions.
  • Have experience in managing the day-to-day technical experience, acting as a liaison, and advocating for the client’s technical needs and issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain executive-level technical relationships within utility and energy companies.
  • Possess relevant technical knowledge and experience related to energy management systems, customer information systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications.
  • Have a proven track record of working in roles that involve technology, transformation, and sustainability within the energy sector.
  • Be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical account management, enterprise architecture, or similar client-facing technical role within the energy or utility industry.
