Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and enhancement of Kraken's innovative energy management platform, focusing on creating sustainable solutions for utilities in energy, water, and broadband sectors through advanced software engineering and AI-driven technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for energy management and utility sectors.
- Re-architect and enhance the Kraken platform to support complex industry-wide problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven features and customer experience improvements.
- Implement scalable and efficient code for customer information systems, billing, meter data management, and CRM.
- Contribute to the development of new functionalities for water and broadband utility industries.
Requirements
- Ability to work in the UK and in our London office on a hybrid remote policy of 1-2 days a week onsite.
- Experience in software engineering with a focus on developing and architecting complex software platforms.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and re-architecting software solutions over the last 3 years.
- Strong skills in creating scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
- Experience working with advanced Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications is preferred.
- Ability to contribute to solving complex industry-wide problems within water and broadband sectors, such as customer experience water leak detection.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a global team.
- Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
