Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer at Kraken will develop and enhance an AI-driven platform for energy management, focusing on creating sustainable energy solutions, optimizing resources, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through advanced systems such as CIS, billing, and CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-driven platforms for energy management
- Optimize renewable energy generation and create intelligent grid solutions
- Implement and improve Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communication tools
- Contribute to innovative energy industry solutions that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar senior software development role with a strong track record of delivering complex software solutions.
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and deploying software applications, with a focus on energy management platforms or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to the role (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar), with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience with designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software systems.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile or Scrum frameworks.
- Experience working with Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing systems, meter data management, CRM, or similar energy industry platforms is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including working at a computer for extended periods, if applicable.
