Job Description
A hands-on Senior Product Manager role focused on growing and improving Kraken's Customer Profile product team within a leading energy management platform, tackling complex challenges to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency in the sustainable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and improve the Customer Profile product team to enhance customer experience.
- Create capabilities that enable a universal model of the end customer and their account.
- Shape and reorganize the product team structure to improve focus and clarity.
- Tackle complex challenges related to energy management and customer data.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders across multiple time zones to deliver product solutions.
Requirements
- A hands-on Product Manager with experience in growing and managing product teams, specifically within the energy management or related technology sectors.
- Experience in creating and developing capabilities that enable a universal model of the end customer and their account, with an understanding of foundational product development in this area.
- Ability to help shape and influence the evolving team structure, including reorganizing teams into subgroups to improve focus and clarity.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers and other product managers, ideally spread across multiple timezones such as European and APAC regions.
- Proven ability to tackle complex challenges related to customer profiles, data, and energy management systems.
- Strong understanding of Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications, or equivalent experience in related systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing or contributing to products that improve customer experience and operational efficiency in the energy or utility industry.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, including those in different geographic locations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or a similar role, with a focus on customer-centric products or energy management solutions.
- A relevant educational background, such as a degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to organizational changes.
