Job Description
The Senior Mission Product Manager for Residential Financials is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable customer billing processes, driving the adoption of core financial systems, and supporting innovation and regulatory compliance in residential energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely customer billing at scale while minimizing costs
- Continuously evolve Kraken's residential financial systems to improve billing accuracy and reduce manual effort
- Drive adoption of core financial systems, reduce legacy and technical debt
- Support the integration of new markets, regulatory changes, and product innovations
- Coordinate with upstream teams for meter data and product definitions, and downstream teams for payments and debt management to ensure end-to-end financial outcomes
Requirements
- Own the outcomes that ensure customer bills are produced accurately, compliantly, on time and automatically at scale, while minimising cost to serve.
- Continuously evolve Kraken s residential financial foundations so that accurate billing becomes the default outcome, not the result of manual effort or bespoke configuration.
- Drive the adoption of Kraken s latest core financial systems, reduce legacy and technical debt, and enable clients to support new markets, regulatory change, and product innovation with confidence.
- Focus primarily on residential billing, while coordinating closely with upstream teams such as Markets for meter data and supporting defining the products sold to customers and their quoting, as well as downstream teams such as payments and debt to ensure end-to-end financial outcomes are achievable and consistent.
- Build on Kraken s deep experience in residential energy markets, focusing on elevating how residential financials operate at scale to support new markets, increasing regulatory complexity, and deeper integration with Kraken s core capabilities across the platform.
