Job Description
A Senior Frontend Engineer responsible for developing and enhancing a web-based business process management platform within KrakenFlow, focusing on creating user-friendly interfaces, solving complex problems, and contributing to innovative energy management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-end of the web-based business process management platform
- Implement user interfaces with a focus on usability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve the platform's features
- Utilize tools like GitHub, CircleCI, and Terraform to support continuous integration and deployment
- Monitor and measure application performance using Sentry and CloudWatch
- Participate in an agile development process, contributing to planning and code reviews
Requirements
- Proven experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of web technologies.
- Experience working with modern frontend tools and frameworks such as Figma, Github, CircleCI, and Terraform Enterprise.
- Ability to develop and maintain web-based applications, particularly end-to-end business process management platforms.
- Experience working in an agile environment and using tools like Notion, Asana, and Figma for planning and collaboration.
- Experience with performance measurement and monitoring tools such as Sentry and CloudWatch.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge and be challenged by team members.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver delightful experiences for internal and external customers.
- Willingness to work in the New York City office or remotely within the East Coast region timezone; candidates outside this region will not be considered.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline engineering team of approximately 40 people within a company of 1500+ employees.
- Commitment to building secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions, adhering to open-source coding conventions where applicable.
