Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Python and Django, responsible for developing scalable, maintainable solutions and engaging in projects that enhance digital experiences for energy consumers, with a focus on sustainability and innovative energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Python and Django.
- Build dynamic dashboards and interactive charts for campaign performance visualization.
- Integrate third-party accounts (e.g., LINE) for customer campaign sign-ups.
- Create flexible and maintainable features that enhance core product functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Write clean, well-tested code and implement good monitoring practices.
- Participate in team reviews, learning sessions, and contribute to shaping development processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on backend development using Python and Django framework.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable, and flexible solutions in a professional setting.
- Experience in developing dynamic dashboards that transform with each campaign theme.
- Experience integrating third-party accounts such as LINE for customer sign-up processes.
- Ability to blend promotional content seamlessly into core product functionality.
- Experience surfacing real-time campaign performance through interactive charts or similar visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles, smart testing practices, and good monitoring techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of quick face-to-face chats, and proficient in using tools such as Slack, Asana, or similar asynchronous communication tools.
- Self-motivated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to work and initiative-taking.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, embracing change and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Calmness under pressure and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Relevant educational background or equivalent experience in software engineering or related fields.
