  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global team of designers, researchers, and design system specialists, fostering a culture of critique and excellence.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape product strategy, influence priorities, and ensure user-centric solutions.
  • Implement continuous discovery and research methods to generate actionable insights and embed evidence into product decisions.
  • Scale design operations, rituals, tooling, and playbooks to promote clarity and efficiency without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Requirements

  • Experience in building and evolving design systems into a single source of truth that powers multiple product lines, including tokens, variants, accessibility, AI patterns, and customer journeys.
  • Ability to define and set high standards for interaction, content, research, accessibility, and product storytelling to establish a high UX bar recognized as a household name.
  • Proven leadership skills to lead, level-up, and inspire a global team of designers, researchers, and design-systems specialists, including growing managers-of-managers.
  • Experience in building a culture of critique and creating conditions for team members to produce their best work.
  • Ability to shape product strategy, influence priorities, and co-create strategies with Product and Engineering teams, including making data-driven decisions and stopping solutions that are not user-friendly.
  • Strong skills in continuous discovery, qualitative and quantitative research, triangulation of insights, and integrating evidence into product decisions to create a research engine that reduces guesswork.
  • Experience in scaling design operations, rituals, tooling, and playbooks to maintain clarity and efficiency without unnecessary bureaucracy.
