Job Description
The Head of Business Development is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the US energy market by generating, nurturing, and closing deals with utilities and independent power producers, working collaboratively across teams to grow the client base and market share in the sustainable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, nurture, and close new business deals with utilities and IPPs in the US region
- Increase the company's new business presence and sales pipeline
- Collaborate with senior leadership, management, and technical teams to develop customer-oriented propositions
- Design and deliver solutions that grow the client base and market share
Requirements
- Experience in generating, nurturing, and closing deals across the US region, specifically with utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
- Ability to increase new business presence and pipeline within the US energy market.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering customer-oriented propositions that grow client base and market share.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, management teams, and cross-functional teams including business development, delivery, and technical teams.
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and deal closing within the energy or technology sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment focused on rapid commercialization and customer account growth.
