Job Description
A Data Scientist at Kraken Grid will focus on developing and improving analytics solutions for smart, sustainable energy grids, supporting utilities and grid operators with data collection, real-time monitoring, fault management, and power flow modeling to enable a more efficient and intelligent energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and improve grid analytics solutions
- Engage with client problems to develop tailored data-driven solutions
- Support data collection, analytics, and real-time monitoring services for grid management
- Develop models for fault management, power quality, and power flow
- Collaborate within an agile development environment to build and shape energy grid analytics products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in developing or improving grid analytics solutions, with a focus on data collection, analytics, and real-time monitoring services.
- Proficiency in fault management, power quality, and power flow modeling within energy systems.
- Ability to engage with client problems and build solutions that support the digital transformation of grid operations.
- Strong collaborative skills within a highly agile development and community-based environment.
- Demonstrated passion for building and shaping future energy solutions and technologies.
