Job Description
A legal professional responsible for advising on commercial law, SaaS licensing, AI, and IP matters to support Kraken's innovative energy technology platform and global business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on licensing deals for proprietary technology platform Kraken
- Support legal aspects of investment and M&A transactions
- Provide legal guidance on commercial law and SaaS licensing agreements
- Assist with AI and IP-related legal matters as needed
Requirements
- A qualified lawyer with a background in commercial law and SaaS licensing agreements.
- Experience working on licensing deals for proprietary technology platforms, specifically related to SaaS or similar software.
- Ability to advise on all areas impacting a rapidly growing business, including legal matters related to investment M&A transactions.
- Willingness to work in New York or East Coast US, with the ability to travel to the New York office as needed.
- Legal qualification to practice law in the United States or relevant jurisdiction.
- Excellent communication skills to support a small legal team advising on diverse legal issues.
- Ability to work on a wide range of legal matters, including licensing, M&A, and groundbreaking AI capabilities, as part of a small, dynamic team.
