Job Description
The role involves leading the delivery and implementation of a major utility transformation project in North America, serving as the primary point of contact and guiding a team to deploy Kraken's energy management platform, ultimately driving industry disruption and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the face and delivery leader for North American utility transformation projects.
- Lead and coordinate internal teams, including Client Delivery Leaders and Client Engineering teams, to ensure successful project execution.
- Brief and communicate with executive stakeholders, including utility CEOs, about project progress and strategic objectives.
- Manage dependencies across multiple work streams to facilitate smooth transformation processes.
- Coach, guide, and support delivery leaders throughout the transformation to achieve world-changing results.
Requirements
- Experience serving as the delivery leader for large-scale utility transformation projects, with the ability to lead a major North American utility implementation.
- Comfortable briefing the CEO of a billion dollar utility and maintaining a detailed understanding of the dependencies across multiple work streams.
- Proven ability to coach, guide, and support talented delivery leaders throughout complex transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with internal teams including Client Delivery Leaders and Client Engineering teams, and collaborating with a Product and Engineering organization of approximately 1000 personnel.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and delivering technology-driven energy management solutions, specifically involving Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, and AI-driven communications.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, particularly in the context of energy transition, decarbonization, and utility operations.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple work streams with complicated dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Experience in leading or participating in the implementation of energy management platforms or similar large-scale enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with executive-level stakeholders and internal teams.
- Willingness to be the face of the project and represent the company in high-profile client interactions.
- Physical and mental capacity to handle high-profile, high-responsibility roles involving strategic planning and detailed project oversight.
