Job Description

A data entry student role focused on auditing, standardizing, and migrating asset data into a maintenance management system to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Audit and validate existing asset registers, spare parts lists, and work order logs to identify and correct errors or outdated information
Apply consistent naming conventions and categorization to assets, locations, and inventory items
Accurately migrate and input data into the Fiix software from manual records, spreadsheets, or manuals
Assist in linking technical documents, safety procedures, and checklists to equipment records
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and IT to verify digital records match physical assets on-site

Requirements

Audit existing asset registers, spare parts lists, and work order logs to identify and correct errors, duplicates, or outdated information.
Apply consistent naming conventions and categorization to all assets, locations, and inventory items to improve system searchability.
Accurately migrate and input data from manual records, spreadsheets, or technical manuals into the Fiix software.
Assist in linking technical documents, safety procedures, and checklists to specific equipment records.
Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and IT to verify that the digital records match the physical assets on-site.
High level of comfort using a PC and navigating database software.
Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel for bulk data management.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain 100% accuracy during repetitive data entry tasks.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision once trained.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to report progress and flag data discrepancies to the project lead.
