Job Description
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations at a cannabis dispensary, including staffing, training, inventory management, visual merchandising, cash handling, and ensuring compliance, while providing a positive patient experience and supporting team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily retail operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling
- Oversee inventory management and purchasing activities
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained
- Handle cash management and financial transactions
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Interact with patients and team members to foster a positive culture and enhance patient experience
Requirements
- Experience in managing day-to-day retail operations including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence.
- Competence to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to ensure a positive culture and deliver the best possible patient experience.
- Reporting directly to the Dispensary Store Manager.
