Job Description
We believe there's a better way to build.
Key Responsibilities
Are you passionate about executive recruiting and crafting searches that land specialized talent? We’re looking for an Executive Recruiter to focus on one of our most critical growth functions. Your value starts before a hiring need ever reaches your desk.
This is not a queue of reqs to clear. You will map the market, build a talent network proactively and design each search strategy from the ground up.
You will be a trusted partner to leadership, translating business priorities into hiring plans and flagging market constraints early. We expect you to bring a point of view on how Hut 8 competes for niche talent across energy, power, and infrastructure, and to earn the credibility to be heard at the executive table.
Partner with leadership to turn business priorities into hiring plans, flag talent constraints early, and challenge assumptions on scope, timing, and compensation when the market says otherwise.
Build and maintain a live network of specialized energy talent through strategic and proactive engagements, not only when a role is open.
Run multiple niche searches at once, with the rigor, quality and urgency required. Find the people who don't apply, engage them, and lead them through every stage of the process to a successful close.
Develop working knowledge of energy, power, and infrastructure markets deep enough to hold credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers about the work itself.
Track and share talent availability, compensation benchmarks and competitor hiring activity to inform how Hut 8 positions itself.
Own candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring an exceptional experience from first contact through offer.
Requirements
You've recruited specialized talent and you understand the difference between posting a job and actually finding the people who don't apply. You've worked directly with senior stakeholders and know how to push back, not just execute. You're comfortable building from scratch in a company that moves fast.
You have executive search experience recruiting specialized roles, at a search firm or in-house, and you can speak credibly about the market, not just source from it.
You are a hunter. Ideally, you know where top energy talent lives, what motivates them, and how to engage them before they’re looking.
Ideally, you are familiar with the energy and power industry, with real curiosity to go deeper.
You communicate with precision regardless of audience, and you’ve advised senior leaders, pushed back on unrealistic requirements, and kept their trust.
You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and you’re energized by ambiguity rather than slowed by it.
