We are seeking an analytical and motivated Principal to join our team and support the Head of Corporate Finance.

We are seeking an analytical and motivated Principal to join our team and support the Head of Corporate Finance. This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing strategic and financial initiatives, including financing activities, investment opportunities, joint ventures, and M&A across our AI, advanced computing, and energy ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with a focus on AI infrastructure, digital infrastructure, data centers, or technology/energy sectors . This role offers direct exposure to Hut 8's high-priority corporate development initiatives and a clear path to collaborate with senior leadership by contributing to, and eventually driving, these strategic financial decisions.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in investment banking (TMT, Digital Infrastructure, or Power/Energy groups), private equity, infrastructure funds, or a corporate development role within the tech or utility sector.
Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles and transaction mechanics.
Industry Interest: Familiarity with or a strong interest in the economics of data centers, AI compute infrastructure, power constraints, and cloud ecosystems.
Work Ethic: Highly organized with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the professional maturity to interface with senior executives and external partners.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
