Job Description
The RF Systems Intern will work within a team to design, fabricate, and test RF and millimeter wave subsystems, supporting the development of advanced communication, radar, and sensing technologies while gaining hands-on experience and engaging in professional development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, integrate, and test RF and millimeter wave subsystems.
- Support the development of RF subsystems for communication, radar, and sensing applications.
- Solve customer problems related to RF systems.
- Assist in writing invention disclosures and publishing technical papers.
- Brief customers and participate in proposal activities.
- Contribute technical expertise within a focused team of engineers and scientists.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or other relevant field.
- Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing.
- Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.
- Coursework in digital signal processing (DSP), circuits, electromagnetics, and/or basic C programming.
- Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, and customers.
- Ability to operate complex electronic equipment.
- Ability to perform detailed analyses of integrated circuits.
- Ability to prepare written and oral presentations.
- Willingness to work well in a team and independently.
- Willingness to travel and work in a team of highly skilled engineers on complex projects.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Compensation range of $30-$35 per hour
Work schedule spanning 8 to 12 weeks with start dates on May 25, June 1, and June 15
