Job Description

The EV Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electric vehicles and charging stations, ensuring they operate properly to support electric fleet operations, with training provided by Highland Electric Fleets.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with customers to ensure electric vehicles and charging stations are functioning properly
Perform manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting on electric vehicles and related equipment
Repair and maintain Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment
Diagnose and resolve customer issues related to electric vehicle systems and charging infrastructure

Requirements

Must be enthusiastic about electric vehicles (EVs) and a self-starter who will work closely with customers to ensure that Highland s electric vehicles and charging stations are working properly and that buses can get students to where they need to be.
Perform original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues related to electric vehicles and charging stations.
Receive relevant training provided by Highland to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers, DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.
