The Service Desk Analyst provides initial IT and AV support, managing and troubleshooting systems such as Crestron, Poly, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms, while coordinating with vendors and ensuring smooth operation of meeting spaces and technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote support for IT and AV systems, including live event assistance
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and meeting room technology issues and implement workarounds
Set up, configure, and maintain IT and AV equipment to ensure operational readiness
Train users and create documentation for AV technologies and collaboration tools
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and user account creation
Maintain asset inventories and ensure systems are up-to-date
Coordinate with AV integrators and vendors, monitor their work, and enforce accountability
Collaborate with IT, facilities, and third-party partners on installations, upgrades, and technology enhancements
Respond rapidly to support needs in a fast-paced environment
Maintain ticketing and documentation related to IT, AV systems, and vendor engagements
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of network and AV infrastructure
Requirements
Four (4) years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting Crestron, Poly, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms technologies.
Proven success working with AV integrators and technology vendors setting expectations, managing deliverables, and ensuring accountability.
Four (4) years of experience in computer hardware, professional Windows environments, remote support tools, and device management.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Outlook, Teams, and collaboration platforms.
Strong customer service orientation, including supporting VIPs and live events.
Effective communication skills with users and vendors, able to prepare training materials and clear documentation.
Four (4) years of experience with ticketing systems and asset management.
Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , and manufacturer certifications for Crestron, Poly, Zoom, Teams are preferred.
Good understanding of networking and AV platform architecture.
