Job Description
A Product Engineer at Gridmatic Inc. is responsible for building and iterating on automation tools and platforms to simplify the signing, pricing, and contracting processes for large industrial energy customers, helping the company scale its renewable energy retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build automation and tooling to simplify signing large and complex industrial energy customers
- Develop and iterate on platform features to automate pricing, usage forecasting, and contracting processes
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement solutions that enhance the energy sales platform
Requirements
- Experience in building automation and tooling to facilitate signing large and complex industrial energy customers such as data centers and flexible loads.
- Ability to ship and iterate quickly on product features and improvements.
- Proven ability to figure out what to build to meet product goals and customer needs.
- Strong understanding of pricing, usage forecasting, and contracting processes related to industrial energy customers.
- Experience in developing or working with platforms that automate complex processes in energy markets.
- Exceptional product engineering skills suitable for building scalable and reliable energy-related platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with integrity and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to contribute to a high-growth startup environment focused on renewable energy and data-driven solutions.
