Job Description
A ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management processes and other ServiceNow capabilities, ensuring efficient workflows, integrations, and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM processes
- Perform configuration and customization of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
- Configure and enhance Service Catalog, workflows, and automation to improve service delivery
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using APIs and web services
- Write and document code using JavaScript, Glide API, and related technologies
- Administer multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, data integrity, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation of configurations, workflows, and customizations
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends to recommend platform enhancements
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator, with strong IT Service Management (ITSM) expertise.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM or other modules.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, workflow automation, and integrations using APIs, web services, and connectors.
- Ability to perform hands-on configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
- Experience in configuring and enhancing Service Catalog, workflows, and automation to improve service delivery and user experience.
- Experience in developing and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using APIs, web services, and connectors.
- Ability to write and document clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, Glide API, and related technologies.
- Experience in administering multiple ServiceNow instances, including access control, workflow automation, data integrity, and system upgrades.
- Experience in supporting demand, project, and portfolio management initiatives such as Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Experience in CMDB implementation and governance, ensuring accurate configuration data and relationships for improved service visibility.
- Experience in Contract Management Pro Source-to-Pay, streamlining vendor and procurement workflows.
- Experience in Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), automating HR processes to enhance employee experience.
- Experience in Workplace Service Delivery (WSD), improving workplace operations and facilities management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 USD
