The Plant Controller will oversee financial operations at Gotion's manufacturing plant in Illinois, including cost accounting, budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis, while partnering with operations to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee plant-level financial operations, including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Partner with Plant and Operations leadership to provide financial insights for decision-making, cost efficiency, and productivity.
Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, policies, and audit requirements.
Monitor, analyze, and report on plant performance metrics such as cost variances, inventory accuracy, and capital expenditures.
Develop and lead the onsite finance team, fostering collaboration and process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant controller role.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop a finance team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with complex data.
