Job Description
The IT Manager will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, oversee cybersecurity and system upgrades, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate global IT strategies, all while providing leadership to the IT team in a bilingual, international manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure to ensure network performance and security
- Lead and guide the IT team in support of Helpdesk, MES, and infrastructure operations
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches
- Coordinate with global IT teams to align strategies and standards, and review implementations with leadership
- Oversee hardware, software, and network system upgrades in line with business needs
- Research, procure, implement, and maintain company-wide software solutions
- Manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001, TISAX, and relevant data protection and privacy regulations
- Provide escalation support for complex IT issues to ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and at least business level Chinese (Mandarin) in written and spoken form is required to support communication with global teams and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of IT experience with a focus on network management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within IT.
- Proficiency in managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, and VMware environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with managing and implementing Cisco LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure to ensure network performance and security.
- Experience overseeing hardware, software, and networking system upgrades in alignment with business needs.
- Experience researching, procuring, implementing, and maintaining all companywide software solutions.
- Ability to manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO27001, TISAX, and other local and international data protection and privacy regulations.
- Providing escalation support for complex IT issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Strong leadership and project management skills to lead a team of IT professionals and coordinate with other department managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $110,000 to $160,000 annually, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
