Job Description
This role involves leading the design and development of innovative kitchen appliances, focusing on user-centered, highly usable, and visually appealing product solutions through concept creation, prototyping, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects independently, managing budget and time constraints
- Conduct design analysis, exploration, storytelling, prototyping, and testing
- Translate customer needs and research findings into effective design solutions
- Create visual and conceptual design artifacts such as sketches, models, and CAD prototypes
- Ensure all project deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in product or industrial design
- 1-4 years relevant experience in one or more specific business domains and in one or more markets and cultures, with focus on industrial design for domestic appliances or consumer electronics
- Technical experience from the realization phase of the product development process
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills to gather relevant user insights, conduct competitor studies, and create meaningful and innovative solutions
- Strong design skills, including hand and digital sketching and CAD modeling with Rhino or Solid Works
- Strong CMF (Color, Material, Finish) and graphic creation and visualization skills, creating appealing visuals that bring design solutions to life
- Professional, ambitious, and collaborative mindset
- Ability to ensure all deadlines are met on time with impeccable deliverables
- Building awareness of current trends through fashion, art, design, and digital related products via market research
- Strong narrative ability in verbal and written communication
- Ability to communicate in English speaking and writing skills; Chinese language skills are a plus

Compensation/salary range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually
