The role involves managing Foreign Trade Zone operations, including customs documentation, transactions, and record keeping, to support Gotion Inc.'s manufacturing and logistics activities in compliance with U.S. regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for all Foreign Trade Zone functions under the Foreign Trade Zone Services Agreement.
Prepare and submit required documentation to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including Foreign Trade Zone Admissions, Weekly Withdrawals, and other compliance forms.
Initiate customs entries, export transactions, and zone-to-zone transfers for merchandise entering and leaving the zone.
Maintain accurate Foreign Trade Zone record keeping for management review and compliance.
Validate Foreign Trade Zone data against documentation to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with software vendors to ensure operational efficiency of processes and systems.
Requirements
Three (3) years of experience working in an inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or customs role.
Three (3) years of experience administering a Foreign Trade Zone.
Three (3) years of experience working directly with Customs Border Patrol.
Knowledge of inventory control systems, warehousing and logistics activities including knowledge of logistics Customs terminology and US Tariff Schedule.
In-depth experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
