A Financial Analyst at Gotion Inc. supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Manteno facility, working with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategic decisions and operational improvements in a fast-growing electric vehicle and energy storage technology company.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, planning, and scenario analysis
Perform variance analysis to explain financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Assist in cost analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
Support the annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decisions
Prepare presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership
Assist in ad-hoc financial and business analysis projects
Requirements
A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a related field OR a Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial functions.
Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
