Job Description
The Events Manager at Gotion Inc. is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing internal and external events to promote the company's brand, engage stakeholders, and support recruitment and community outreach efforts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and managing all logistics and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute internal and external events such as job fairs, recruitment events, community outreach, product launches, and corporate meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events align with company goals and values
- Develop and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and venues
- Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and technical setup
- Oversee event promotion and communication strategies to drive attendance and engagement
- Monitor event timelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless event execution
- Lead post-event evaluations and prepare reports to measure success and ROI
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards at all events
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and local communities to enhance company presence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate or large-scale manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to develop and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to optimize costs while ensuring quality.
- Ability to coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and technical setup such as AV and lighting.
- Ability to oversee event promotion and communication strategies in partnership with marketing teams to drive attendance and engagement.
- Ability to monitor event timelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless event execution from planning to post-event reporting.
- Ability to lead post-event evaluations and prepare reports to measure event success and ROI.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards at all events.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $110,000 to $130,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
