Gotion Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to assemble, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment, focusing on industrial electrical systems and PLC programming.
Responsibilities
•Assemble, install, and wire electrical components and systems according to schematics and specifications.
•Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in equipment.
•Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs based on engineer instructions.
•Install, configure, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives and Servo Drive systems.
•Update and modify electrical schematics using ePlan Electrical CAD software.
•Identify opportunities to improve electrical system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
•Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
•Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures when working on electrical equipment.
Requirements
•Education: 2-year electrical, technical, or related degree. Equivalent technical certifications and experience will also be considered.
•Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•Essential Skills: Strong understanding of industrial electrical principles, including AC DC circuits, motor controls, and safety systems.
•PLC Programming: Knowledge of Beckhoff and Siemens PLCs, with the ability to interpret and modify ladder logic and other PLC code.
•VFDs and Servo Drives: Knowledge of VFD and Servo Drive systems, including their installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
•CAD Software: Knowledge in using ePlan Electrical CAD software for schematic design and modification.
•Troubleshooting: Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues.
•Communication: Ability to communicate technical information effectively with engineers and other team members.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures, including lockout tagout procedures, when working on electrical equipment.
