BMS Application Engineer – Battery Systems

• Supporting the design and development of the electrical architecture of high-voltage battery systems, including BMS, CMU. • Assisting in translating customer and system-level requirements into feasible design and software solutions. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (BMS HW, BMS SW, FuSa, Systems, Testing) to ensure complete system integration. • Participating in RFQ/RFI processes by preparing technical input and documentation. • Supporting BMS hardware integration and communication interfaces (CAN/LIN). • Contributing to system validation, including electrical testing and troubleshooting. • Supporting DFMEA, DVP&R planning, and functional safety efforts aligned with ISO 26262. • Onsite OEM support for flashing, initial integration, troubleshooting • Collaborating with global teams, including some travel to suppliers or OEM sites.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical or a related field. • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the battery or EV industry, preferably in a BMS hardware or software role. • Exposure to high-voltage battery systems (400–1000V) including electronic/sw design. • Understanding of BMS, CAN communication, and automotive diagnostic protocols. • Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and automotive product development cycles. • Understanding of safety standards such as ISO 26262. • Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in English. • Bilingual Chinese is a plus • Willingness to travel up to 15%, including visits to suppliers and OEMs, both domestic and international. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 90,000.00 - 128,000.00 + 15% bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
