Job Description
The Plant Controller will be a key member of Gotion’s U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant-level financial operations, including cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Partner with Plant and Operations leadership to provide financial insights that support decision-making, cost efficiency, and productivity improvements.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and external audit requirements.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on plant performance metrics (e.g., cost variances, inventory accuracy, capital expenditures).
- Develop and lead a small finance team onsite, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant controller role. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop a finance team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams. Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with complex data.
- Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $120k – $160k, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location.
