Job Description
The Staff Software Engineer will lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable financial technology solutions within GoodLeap's Funding domain, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform capabilities and ensure high-quality, reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of solutions within GoodLeap's Funding domain.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define strategies and solve complex challenges.
- Lead major projects and champion best practices in code quality, reliability, and operations.
- Mentor team members and influence technical decision-making.
- Ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality, and impactful software solutions.
Requirements
- Experience leading the architecture, design, and development of software solutions in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in hands-on software development and strategic decision-making related to system design.
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define strategies and solve complex challenges.
- Ability to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that meet project requirements.
- Experience leading major projects and championing best practices in code quality, reliability, and operations.
- Passion for impactful, scalable solutions and working with modern technologies.
- Experience working with or leading teams on greenfield projects and system improvements.
- Familiarity with technical technologies including C .NET, MongoDB, Kafka, Typescript, GitHub Actions, SST Serverless stack, Lambda functions, Datadog, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Kubernetes, and Elastic Search.
- Ability to mentor team members and navigate trade-offs to achieve ambitious goals.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Ability to work in a collaborative work culture and contribute to a mission-driven company focused on sustainable solutions.
