Job Description
The Principal Product Manager, Data Platform, is responsible for defining and leading the strategy, development, and execution of GoodLeap's enterprise data infrastructure, enabling secure, scalable, and self-service data solutions that support the company's data-driven transformation across various teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the enterprise data platform.
- Enable secure, scalable, and self-service data infrastructure for cross-functional teams.
- Build trust in data through governance and cataloging practices.
- Facilitate compliant data sharing in regulated environments.
- Promote modern platform capabilities to unlock value for internal teams and customers.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders across all departments to align data initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern data architectures and platforms without needing to be an engineer
- Experience in defining and leading the strategy, roadmap, and execution of enterprise data platforms
- Proven track record of hands-on product execution in data-related initiatives
- Strong ability to build and promote secure, scalable, and self-service data infrastructure that enables teams across engineering, analytics, operations, and business units
- Experience in building trust in data through governance and cataloging
- Ability to enable compliant data sharing in regulated environments
- Passion for scalable product thinking and modern platform capabilities that unlock value for internal teams and customers
- Excellent collaboration skills to partner deeply with cross-functional leaders across all departments of the organization
