Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for recruiting and qualifying new Home Improvement Contractors to join GoodLeap, helping them access financing solutions, and collaborating with the team to ensure partner success in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective Home Improvement Contractors to join GoodLeap
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure partner success
- Assist Home Improvement Contractors in accessing loan programs
- Proactively develop and maintain relationships with potential partners
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on proactively identifying and qualifying prospective partners or contractors.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a team to ensure overall partner success.
- Experience working with home improvement contractors or in the sustainable solutions industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential partners and internal teams.
- Ability to help contractors access and understand loan programs related to sustainable home improvement solutions.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, energetic environment with a fun team culture.
- Knowledge of financing products or programs related to solar, energy-efficient HVAC, or home improvement solutions is preferred but not explicitly required.
- Ability to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers related to the position.
- Legal authorization to work in the applicable jurisdiction; no specific educational or experience requirements explicitly stated, but relevant experience in business development or sales is implied.
