Job Description
As a Principal Engineer - Mechanical Structures & Dynamics, you will be a technical reference within our structural engineering community, providing deep expertise in structural analysis, dynamics, and mechanical design for wind turbine nacelles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex structural analysis and engineering activities, using FEA/ANSYS to assess strength, dynamics, fatigue, and structural integrity.
- Develop and improve calculation methodologies and engineering approaches for challenging structural problems.
- Provide technical guidance on structural design, challenging assumptions and ensuring robust engineering decisions from concept through validation.
- Mentor and coach engineers, sharing knowledge and strengthening technical capability across the team.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, testing, suppliers, and other engineering functions to deliver robust structural solutions.
