Job Description Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Manufacturing Support Team Member to join our manufacturing team in Stafford. This role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of production equipment, processes, and assembly lines, ensuring production activities are maintained safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Working within a high-technology manufacturing environment, you will carry out routine equipment checks, provide first-line support for operational issues, help maintain production continuity, and contribute to process and equipment improvements. You will work closely with the manufacturing and production teams to support the achievement of production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements while contributing to Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Full training will be provided to support your development in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Support the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and production areas.
• Provide mechanical and operational support to production equipment and processes.
• Act as the first line of response for equipment and process-related issues.
• Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Create, update, and maintain standard work instructions and operational documentation.
• Complete fault reporting, root cause investigations, and maintenance records.
• Manage spare parts, tooling, and production consumables to support uninterrupted operations.
• Work collaboratively with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve business objectives.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
