Key Responsibilities

Architect Winning Solutions: Provide technical expertise to develop comprehensive solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics) that satisfy customer CTQs (Critical to Quality) and drive our "passion to win."
Lead the ITO Phase: Drive the technical accuracy of proposals, including scope definition, installation requirements, bill of materials (BOM), and cost estimation for engineering, testing, and commissioning.
Optimize Bid Competitiveness: Design and implement reusable methodologies, templates, and libraries to deliver highly accurate cost estimates with improved efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Proposal Managers, Sourcing, and multi-discipline engineering teams to create robust bid packages and manage vendor responses.
Technical Advocacy: Interface with commercial teams to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, value-driven presentations for customers.
Risk Mitigation: Perform essential studies to verify design integrity and ensure all proposals meet industry standards (IEEE, NESC, ANSI, IEC, etc.) while maintaining a keen focus on performance risk.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in substation/electrical design, specifications, and estimating for power generation, transmission, or distribution.
Proposal Expertise: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in technical proposal writing and management.
Technical Proficiency: A solid foundation in HV/EHV substation physical design, protection & control schemes, SCADA communication systems, and power system studies.
Strategy & Persuasion: Proven ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and communicate technical differentiators effectively.
Agility: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel, to support customer presentations and site evaluations.
