Key Responsibilities
Use simulation and test data processing to conduct combustion dynamics analysis and assess system stability
Develop mitigation strategies using thermoacoustics tools
Assist in design decisions and root cause analysis by leveraging predictive analysis simulations
Execute the analysis or evaluation projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to engineering practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
Document work clearly and effectively present your work (including assumptions, status, and results) in formal and informal reviews.
Contribute to the development of best practices and templates to be communicated with the global GE Vernova Combustion community.
Embrace Lean principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in a practical application
Minimum 4 years of experience solving dynamical systems using CFD, Finite Element codes and/or network models
Thermoacoustics modeling and signal processing experience
You hold a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
You are passionate about thermoacoustics modelling
You have experience running and analyzing combustion tests
You are familiar with AI and possess a continuous improvement (Lean) mindset.
You are someone who brings innovative mindset, is a team player, and has excellent presentation and communication skills.
