Job Description

We are looking for an experienced technical leader to define and drive the global strategy for HVDC Control & Protection systems across projects, tenders, and new product introduction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the global strategy for HVDC Control & Protection systems
Establish and maintain reference solutions, engineering standards, tools, and governance frameworks
Provide technical leadership across tenders, projects, and NPI activities
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements while supporting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives
Drive standardisation, consistency, and continuous improvement across teams, regions, and projects
Oversee Control & Protection system design, deployment, configuration, integration, and validation
Support execution planning, engineering estimates, technical risk identification, and mitigation strategies for new opportunities
Guide modelling and simulation activities using tools such as PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PSSE, and RSCAD
Review and approve key design deliverables to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness
Lead and develop a global community of Control & Protection engineers and specialists
Act as a key technical interface with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
