Design Liaison Engineering Intern

As a DLE Engineering Intern, you will support the design and manufacturing of gas turbine flow path hardware, including blades, vanes, heat shields, and linkage assemblies. You will help resolve hardware deviations, support supplier qualifications, contribute to design improvements, and work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturability.

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field at a University in Switzerland
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, including stress, fatigue, creep, materials, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, machining, coatings, inspection, and fixturing Knowledge of gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., Ansys) and 3D CAD (e.g., NX) Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate in a cross functional global organization Humble, open-minded, self-motivated, and eager to learn Comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Language: English fluency required
